I'll keep it short.

About 15-20 total observers were there. When we, TAC-SAC, arrived, the Sierra Star Gazers were already there. There were some high thin clouds for the first hour after darkness, but most of it cleared out by 9PM. We stayed 'till a little after 11PM, when more of the high stuff came in.by the time we packed and left, it started clearing again. The naked eye limiting magnitude is about 5.8 to 6.0 as expected for this site, which is not even 1000 feet above sea level and it proximity to the Sacramento area. Our usual high altitude site has at least 3' of snow on it.

I've decided to continue to work on my flat galaxy list.

The format is Object, RA, Dec, magnitude and size.

UGC 4719 09 00 38.2 +50 40 43 14.9p 2.3 x 0.2'
22" (230 and 310x) - Faint thin streak, about 100' long. Even surface brightness with a very slightly brighter core and diffuse edges. About 1.2' long and PA = 90° The 16th magnitude companion to the east was not detected.

NGC 2820 09 21 47.1 +64 15 28 12.8v 5.5 x 0.7'
22" (115, 230 and 310x) - Considerably bright thick streak. Even surface brightness halo with a very slightly brighter core. Well defined edges. About 2' long and 0.3' thick and PA = 60° IC 2458 is seen just off the SSW tip as a very faint small round glow.
NGC 2814 - considerably bright 4:1 elongated glow with well defined edges. About 0.8' long and 0.2' thick PA = 0°

UGC 6378 11 22 7.3 +69 38 02 14.7p 2.7 x 0.2'
22" (230 and 310x) - very faint thin streak. Even surface brightness with no central brightening. About 0.8' long and less than 0.1' thick PA = 135°

UGC 6667 11 42 26.3 +51 35 52 14.2p 3.7 x 0.6'
22" (230 and 310x) - Faint thick streak. Even surface brightness with no central brightening. About 1.5' long and 0.2' thick PA = 90°

UGC 8040 12 54 43.8 +58 46 38 14.7p 1.4 x 0.1'
22" (230 and 310x) - faint thick streak with very well defined edges. Slightly brighter center. About 1' long and 0.2' thick PA= 60°
Nearby Galaxies:
UGC 8046 - Very faint round glow with diffuse edges. About 20" across. 2.8' ENE from UGC 8040.
MCG+10-19-1 - Faint slightly elongated glow with a brighter center, about 15" across and PA = 45°
MCG+10-18-88 - Faint slightly elongated glow with a brighter center, about 15" across and PA = 90°. A 15.3 magnitude star lies 30" SE.

UGC 8146 13 02 07.7 +58 42 01 14.4p 3.4 x 0.3'
22" (230 and 310x) - Very faint thin streak with no central brightening. About 1.2' long and 0.2' thick PA = 30° Located within a triangle of 10 to 12th magnitude stars.

NGC 4183 12 13 17.2 +43 41 48 12.9b 6.3 x 0.8'
22" (230 and 310x) - Considerably bright thick streak. Well defined edges, even surface brightness with a slightly brighter core. About 3' long and 0.4' thick PA= 150° A 14.6 magnitude star lies 45" SSE from the center. A collinear set of 12 to 15th magnitude stars lies SW.

UGC 5173 09 41 32.2 +11 24 47 14.7p 2.3 x 0.2'
22" (230 and 310x) - Very faint thin streak with a stellar core. About 1.2' long and 0.1' thick. PA = 135°
Nearby galaxies:
MCG+2-25-19 - Considerably bright round glow with diffuse edges. Lies just west of a 14.8 magnitude star.
CGCG 63-43 - Considerably faint 2:1 elongated glow. About 0.5' long and PA = 60°. It appears slightly brighter than UGC 5173.

UGC 5164 09 40 49.8 +11 33 11 14.6 1.1 x 0.1'
22" (230 and 310x) - Faint small thin streak with no central brightening and defined edges. About 0.7' long and 0.1' thick PA = 30°. The companion off the south tip was not detected.
Nearby galaxy:
CGCG 63-37 - Very faint and very small 3:1 elongated glow. PA = 150° and 0.2' long. A double star (mag 11.9 and 14.1) lies just east.

NGC 4222 12 16 22.4 +13 18 26 13.9b 4.0 x 0.6'
22" (230 and 310x) - Considerably bright thin glow with diffuse edges and no central brightening. A 15.0 magnitude star is on the NE tip. About 2.5 long and 0.2' thick PA = 60°. An 8.7 magnitude star lies 4.5' east from the center.

UGC 7321 12 17 34.1 +22 32 27 14.2b 5.5 x 0.3'
22" (230 and 310x) - Faint long thin streak with a slightly brighter center The tips gradually fades 3' long and 0.2' thick. PA = 90° A 14.5 magnitude star lies 3.5' east from the center.
