I think I may be turning from the dark observing side to heliolatry after the recent total solar eclipse in China and a stunning green flash a couple of hours ago on the beach at Pajaro Dunes. Conditions were perfect at sunset over the Monterey bay for a vivid flash of emerald green the moment after the top of the sun sunk below the horizon. Hoping for a repeat performance of the sun tomorrow at sunset (Tuesday)
