NGC 6951: Galaxy in Cepheus.
106x. Large, pretty bright, oval shape. Brighter in the core area, halo is very faint, no
structure seen. At 138x, seen with difficulty, was an extremely faint star or stellar nucleus
embedded in the center. Moderately bright star on east edge of galaxy.
NGC 7139: Planetary nebula in Cepheus.
Difficult. Mag 13. Only seen with OIII filter. Extremely, terribly faint. Fairly small to moderate
in size, roundish, grey. Pretty much only seen using adverted vision. Best seen at 106x with OIII.
NGC 147: Galaxy in Cassiopeia.
A dwarf galaxy. Extremely faint, very low surface brightness, very large. At 106x, suspect seeing
the western portion as being brighter. May I ask, whats the magnitude of the surface
brightness on this galaxy?
