Comet VZ13

Renato, Caroline, and I looked at the comet from Shingletown Wednesday night. Unfortunately, I didn't think to look around it for other objects like the Draco trio. We looked at the comet early in the evening, and again after the transparency went south, about 2:00 a.m. My before and after memories were strikingly different, as the poor transparency turned the sky background bright. The comet looked much worse with low contrast. Still, it was a big, bright object.
