Picked out Comet McNaught in the evening twilight throu some thin cirrus out in the back yard. Clear shot of western horizon since there are no houses behind me.. Only open space.
Man this thing is bright!! Snagged it at 5:19.. Followed it into the muck till 5:40pm. Easy nakkid eye object with over 1 degree of tail.. Looked better in the bino's than the 80mm shorttube scope. All the family got to see it also.
