Reflections from Coe: Looking In The Mirror Again...

by Peter Natscher

Looking at an STScI image this morning of this six-galaxy cluster, two of the galaxies (NGCs 6961 and 6963) are tiny, almost stellar and made them difficult to identify against the neighboring field stars last night. I had to keep looking at the field for a minute or two to see them all. This cluster is configured in a circle and fits nicely in a high-power 30 arc-minute field of view. Beautiful!

Aquarius Cluster: NGC's 6959, 6961, 6962 6963, 6964, 6965.
