SSP Veil Photo

by Bill Drelling

Well, finally starting to process some of those astrophotos from SSP. This photo is an hour long shot of the veil nebula through my FSQ using E-200 film. I still have to learn a few tricks about image processing.

The beauty of the FSQ is that even if the seeing isn't perfect, the scope can still capture a decent image. Almost the entire Veil fits into the FOV of a 35mm film frame. The view is about 3.8 degrees across. Hope you like it.

More later.
