To my surprise what I initially thought may have been dust spots on the sensor in fact are not dust spots but are in fact something real in the sky
Nothing is in SIMBAD there but there are other places to look.
I consulted the DSS red image and they are there. They almost look like random noise in the DSS image so it is easy to see how they may have been overlooked, assuming they are in fact uncatalogued.
I looked at my 2004 image from the C14 and another Dream Machine camera and they are in there too.
Several other images on the Internet show them too. Again to many people they may look like random noise but they definitely are NOT random noise.

in the meantime two more interesting objects were spotted and they are also listed on the page above..
so that one narrow field of view test shot has potentially uncovered four new objects. Not bad for three hours imaging on a Sunday night in the backyard under a near-full moon with a home built telescope that the naysayers said would never hold collimation.
