The skies looked great around sunset. The dozen or so high school kids had gone on a rather strenuous hike earlier in the day and were pretty well worn out, but still anxious to get a look thru my 10" dob. The skies became quite dark and clear and I figured we'd have a really good night.
The evening started off well and I got the chance to show the kids about a half dozen objects; but by around 9pm they began dropping like flies and the humidity eventually rose to around 96%, dewing me up considerably. All in all, it was a rather short but enjoyable evening.
Sorry to hear the Coe event didn't last very long either....... :-(
