Willow Springs 8/25

by Paul Molenberg

This is my first report on this site. I'm still pretty new at this. I stayed two nights at Willow Springs 8/25 and 8/26 with my wife. We were just blown away at how beautiful the night sky was there. It's been a long time since either of us has been to a dark site. Meteors every few minutes and clusters visible to the naked eye added to the experience. My observing was done with a Celestron 8" S.C. scope with GPS. Everything on this list was done on the first night and is in the order of observation. My descriptions are short as I was trying to hit a lot of Messiers in one night. This was done from approx. 9:30 to 2:30. The second night was done more leisurely and I didn't take notes.
