The air was about as steady as I have ever encountered, judged by the clean split of Izar (Epsilon of Bootes, mags. 2.5 & 5.0, 2.9 sec. apart) in my 5-in. Mak at 220x, and by the clarity of Jupiter's red spot--had fun seeing it advancing in the course of the evening. Although the Moon kept us company, no scope actually went that way.
