Fremont Peak Sunday Night 5/28/06

Finally a reasonable night at FP Sunday night. Surprised to be the only observer behind the ranger's house this evening. Wind was calm, temps in the mid-40's, and humidity 68% from 11pm till dawn. Although clear all night, I would not say that the transparency was good. No fog to cover urban sky glow, the Milky Way was very low contrast as compared to last April's great viewing. Dark lanes barely defined - overall a very dull view, even at the zenith.
