Image of Comet 73P Schwassmann-Wachmann

by Richard Crisp

here is an image I took of Schwassmann-Wachmann 73P last night from Fremont Peak.

http://www.narrowbandimaging.com/comet_schwassmann_73P_page.htm

It was just six exposures of 2 minutes so I didn't get too much data.

I didn't guide on the head of the comet either so if you really zoom in you see multiple comet heads from the stacking process. Either the comet will be streaked or the stars will be. It turned out easier to make the stars be points and the comet streaked.
