It Pays To Go

It was a fun night. The Kowa Highlander is much easier to aim with a Telrad taped (Gaffer's tape) to one of its tubes. The Telrad made hunting for Messiers fun.

The Eskimo in Mark's 18" was outstanding. So was NGC 4565.

Kevin R. had a fine view of Saturn in his 10" Dob.

Thanks to Mark for letting me play with his Obsession 18. That thing makes a great light cannon. It makes a really nice tight beam with my Surefire M4 aimed into the focuser.

Glad we took a chance on the skies clearing.
