Montebello OSP, 5 Dec. 2005 (Mon)

Bob's report nailed the setting, the skies, the ambience and lotsa astro-goodness.

What he modestly neglected to mention was that he was able to identify the lunar features for us, even recognizing the Messier "rays" from a verbal description. He truly is an omni-observer from deep to shallow sky, from asteroids to asterisms.

He also is skilled at interpretive dance as he demonstrated his reenactment of the "Running Dog" on Mars. :-)

You had to be there...

It is Fantastic to observe with Bob, Albert and David. I always learn New things and the discussions are lively, entertaining and thought-provoking.

For newer TACos - I highly recommend seeking out the OI's of more experienced observers. Your time on the Hilltops will be greatly enhanced.
