That forest fire up north by Red Bluff may also have added to our transparency problems. Still, it was a warm and pleasant night, at least until the breeze came up around midnight. I can't remember when the seeing has been so steady.

I spent most of my time globular hunting in Sagittarius and reviewing the open clusters in Cassiopeia. The view of the night was of the Little Dumbell through the binoviewers in Shneor's 22". What a sight!
