Here's the real first light of the 8nm hutech halpha "front filter".

10 x 3 mins at ISO 400.
The filter drops into the canon 300D camera body in front of the reflex miror.
I also used a IDAS LPS filter.
The OTA was the 8" f4 LXD55 Meade Schmidt Newt.
That's processed on the laptop -- so if the colors/contrast looks whacked, well, we know why.
