Fremont Peak Sat June 11

by Richard Crisp

I imaged by the workshop/restroom area on Sat night. Seeing was good, and once the moon set, it got pretty dark. It started out windy and was coldish but as the evening wore on the wind let up a bit and it didn't seem so cold.

It was dry.

I was using a widefield setup and has the Antares/ Rho Ophiuchus area as my primary target.

Here is what I was able to take before it disappeared into the towers on the peak :-(

I was initially taking Halpha data at the time the sun set. Then I switched to Green and Blue. While beginning my Red sequence it hit the towers. The summer seems to be flying by and it hasn't even begun weather-wise!

Since I didn't get any decent red data, I let Halpha serve duty in that regard. so this is an HaGB shot.
