Coe blows and worse

Met several folks at Coe - the wind was strong and cold blowing abrasive grit across the lot.

I wasn't going to set up my scope in that either, and left just a bit after sunset - I've had many nights standing in the wind until 11pm or so and wasn't going to do it again.

But, by 11 pm in SJ there seemed to be no wind... although this morning the breeze is strong again. I assume it never really died down last night at Coe.

Got good cell reception there and talked with friends at Coyote and DaPeak, sounds like it was windy everywhere.

We talked a bit last night about driving times to the observing sites. I did enjoy the drive, the mountain road and views are always a nice break from the city. Anyway... I was saying that driving times to Coe, DaPeak and Dino are all very close. Others were saying it is significantly shorter to Coe.
