Coe blows and worse

Met several folks at Coe - the wind was strong and cold blowing abrasive grit across the lot. Don't need to refigure any optics at this time. I suggested we tie string to our box kites, I mean truss dobs, and see who could get the highest. No takers. By 9 PM no better so I bailed out. Several folks were still there with tripod mounted scopes set up. I hope they had better luck!

Went home and set up in the back yard, and was treated to the worst seeing ever. Absolute 0. Then I managed to short the fan battery. What's that smell?

Juergen wins the prize though, ground assault, air assault and he still gets a photo. Amazing.
