Fremont Peak, Friday May 20

by Richard Crisp

I spent the night up on FP last night. It started out with high clouds and threatening looking cloud banks off to the north west

it remained partly cloudy until about midnight.

it got wet up there too. and it was windy. it was cold actually and quite uncomfortable.

but the seeing was good and the skies were so so on transparency

I was using my camera lens adaptor with my ST10XME but this time used a 90mm lens for an ultra-wide angle shot. The FOV is 6.3 x 9.4 degrees or 60.1 square degrees.

This was first light for the 90mm lens and it was also first light for the Helium II filter I was using.

Instead of [SII], Ha and [OIII], i used Ha, [OIII] and HeII for a bit of variety.

here's the image of the area around M24, M8 and M20.
