Friday, 03/11/05 Observation Report

Moon - 1st day moon (approx 4%) was clearly visible. Viewing conditions were excellent. Crescent moon looked gorgeous, with Mercury close by. Mercury and Moon were clearly seen just after sunset (twilight). Captured some images of Mercury in the vicinity of Moon. This was the first time in last several months that i was able to capture the images of the 1st day moon. (Thanks to the great weather).

Other objects viewed: M42 - Orion Nebula, and M45.
