A couple of us were doing a dry run on Mt Tam last night. We could see your long-thread generators poking through the cloud deck ;-)
Seeing was freaking incredible. Pushed 600X on Saturn and it was rock steady. Cassini division looked like the Coast Highway.
Hard edges. Sharp shadow cutoffs. I can still see Saturn in my mind, filling up a barlowed 7mm Nagler. Woo-woo.
Tonight, we will feel pain on Mt. Tam. Or maybe we'll be fogged out. But if the marine layer stays below 1500', we will rock and roll.
