finally cleared up last night

about midnight or thereabouts up here in Castro Valley. Sorry the rest of you got skunked down at the Peak and at Lake Sonoma.

So I went outside and set up the 18" Cassegrain for imaging.

I managed to take 6 exposures of 10 minutes before I had to call it quits. The seeing was definitely soft; > 3arc-sec.

this was the first light testing of the new baffles. Looks like I need to tweak the collimation a tad. Gee if it isn't the weather, then it's the equipment :-)
