A Planet, a Planetary, a Cluster, and Orientale
by Jane Houston Jones
I've been out with two telescopes tonight too in Southern California.
F/9 AP180 EDT on Saturn and environs earlier in the evening. Since the
seeing is not great tonight, (here's our clear sky
clock:http://cleardarksky.com/c/MnrviaCAkey.html ) we took the AP down.
Now I'm waiting for the moon to clear a big pine tree, then I'll have my
turn with Mare Orientale, through my homemade f/7.3 10-inch Dobsonian.
:-) Hopefully, I'll have something to report a little later.
