Comet Macholtz

Just viewed this object from my back yard thru thin clouds about 3-4 degees NNW of the Pleiades, close to the zenith, with a pair of 10x50s.

Beautifull, large object, thought I saw a tail. Stretching south. Must be magnificent in a big dob.
