the seeing was really amazing and the skies were clear. I've not seen Procyon burning near-steady too many times but last night that was what was happening.
There was also a strong wind blowing.
I had my 18" cassegrain with me and by the time I was ready to start imaging the wind picked up and kept with it all night.
For me it was useless to try to take any images: the big cass just acts like a sail.
Speaking of sails, I think I will look into a way to block the wind using poles, tarps and the little trailer I bought from Guillermo. Otherwise it is going to be hard to use that big scope in real field conditions.
Great night up there: not very cold (55-63 most of the night) but windy.
