Castro Valley backyard

Last night I was itching to get out under the stars again and try out some new filters I recently purchased. I was just about ready to begin shooting images when the clouds got thick.

But I hung in there a bit longer and the were cleared out by 9:30 or so. I imaged until 1am

this was a first light for the new AstroDon emission line filters. I plan to take a bit more data to richen the colors but i am reasonably happy with the first results.

This was shot with the FSQ106 and IMG6303E camera.
