Last night the imaging in Castro Valley was so so. It started out sort of "average" seeing up here in the early evening. It was clear and cold.
But by 10pm the weather warmed up a lot. I don't have a number but I'd estimate at least 10 degrees if not more. It also got windy.
My beginning of the evening seeing was letting me get 4 arc-sec stars. not that great. By 11pm, they were running about 5.5arc-sec.
Not exactly a good night for highly detailed imaging like needed for my HH34 target. But I stuck with it anyway. After a month of nearly continuous clouds it was just nice to see stars again.
