Backyard observing
by Peter McKone
Bob Baldwin and I set up in the back yard last night. Seeing wasn't so
good, and dew formed early. Made liberal use of the hair dryer. Still
Castor split cleanly. And I want to call your attention to the nice double
Otto Struve 111, just north of Meissa, at the head or Orion. Mags 5.6 and
9.6. Separation 2.8". The companion is blue. Very pretty.
