Blue Canyon on Saturday night

I was at Blue Canyon on Saturday. Call me a wimp, but that warming room is really NICE. Five minutes in there in front of the heater every so often, and I was ready to go back on the tarmac and do some serious observing.

It is also much warmer in the observatory using the club scopes. The walls block the wind, and the raised floor makes for a much warmer experience. I still spent most of my time with my dob on the tarmac, but occasionally going inside the observatory and the warming room made the night much more enjoyable. Hot tea doesn't hurt either!
