MB this evening

I arrived at MB around 6 p.m. to an empty parking lot. Still, I let myself in and set up the scope. At first I thought -- hummm, not too bad. It was warm and I could see an inkling of the Milky Way. By 7 p.m. the seeing deteriorated considerably -- the sky looked pretty "white" and oqaque. I figured it was time to hit the road.

Still, an hour under the stars was worth it..
