The Ghosts In My Backyard

I was just outside (@ 10:20 pm) to have a look for aurora. North and northeast is quite bright from Cupertino. The sky looks clear but bright. I don't think I was seeing any aurora but will keep checking for the next few hours.

My eyes took a while to acclimate. But it sure seemed bright. Maybe a CME precursor illuminating the regular skyglow, maybe my imagination. But it did seem bright.
