Short OR from Evergreen Sat 9/7

The short form is that the seeing was the best I have had this year for Mars. It steadied up at about 15deg from the horizon and except for one 5 or 10 minute period was extremely good.

Everyone was exclaiming how good it was. Various objects were being shown and we had about 9 scopes there. The crowds were lighter than usual. I picked up a "V Block" filter to use on the Logitech webcam but didnt do a "with and without" comparison. I didnt want to mess with success.

Even the webcam was showing the irregular edge of the south polar cap not to mention nice solid outlines of the dark areas, no fuzz.

I took a bunch of video clips. This may make me finally reputup my website.
