The evening started out wonderful: super clear and dark skies, very steady seeing. Then about 11pm or so the wind picked up and was so strong that nothing would stand still, including my C14 atop my AP1200 mount. So I packed it in early.
I did manage to snag a bit of the Hourglass region of M8 in an Halpha image. It was not what I was hoping for as I wanted color, but this is all she wrote.
