I just arrived home from SSP and I want to be the first to complement the incredible efforts of the organizers and the people of Shingletown. The water truck and the hay had taken care of the dust compared to last year where even at a crawl cars raised dust. There were free beers, sodas, coffee, water & ice, two generators to charge your batteries and the list goes on. As for the residents of Shingletown were warm and welcoming and the attendance public star party was just short of astonishing. Their efforts have made this a wonderful star party. I am disappointed that it is over for me, but a few people remained at the airport for this the final night of SSP II and I hope that they have a great time. I am already looking forward to next year!.
