Montebello last night

Well the CSC was wrong for Montebello yesterday.

I'm glad I took the chance on observing there. The seeing was a little soft early on but it improved to the point where Old School was able to pet the Pup once again. :-)

Jupiter was very nice at 190X in the 4" scope and a very large barge was seen southern edge of the SEZ it was so large that I thought it was the GSR at first. Saturn was a lovely sight, hanging like a jewel in the night time sky.

I ended the evening with a few bright OC in Orion and Gemini and left about 10:30

It's just so good to get out under the stars, I hope that we have a clear weekend.
