MB experience first time

It was the first time I went to MB.. Reached there at about 2045 and a few people were already there.

Moon was already out there and I set up scope and trained it on Saturn first !! Then it was M42 and a few other easy ones I could figure out. Jupiter was on my list next. Finally at around 1245 I just sat back to watch the show. People kept coming in even as late as 2 - 2:30.

I had my Palm with the Meteor counting software by NASA and between 2 - 3 I counted about 110. Couple of them were good bright ones with a green wake. And I also saw the one Tajinder mentioned. Looked like a flash going off.

It was nice to be out (unfortunately had to get to work today), but the show was nowhere like last year.
