That was from up near Grant Line Road and 580 (exit Grant Line Road, head north, take first right to back under the freeway, wind around some country roads for a mile or two). It wasn't too bad, snuggling up in a sleeping bag helped a lot. Surprisingly, there was no wind. The moonshine made everything look hazy on 580 going east...wait, not the Foster's relative, the light from the moon.
Got there about 2:10am. Less than 1 per minute until about 2:30 or 2:35, then it picked up to one every 10 or 15 seconds, it seemed like. They were pretty much everywhere, with a lot punching holes through the bottom of the big dipper. Some good ones over by Jupiter though!
