I decided to head up to Fremont Peak last night moon notwithstanding.Other than a lone coyote that paid me a visit near sunset and a feral hog working the trash can circuit about 1:30am, I was alone up there.
The moon was very bright as expected, but the transparency was good enough that it really did not bother me too much
The temperatures were coolish: low 60s all night. The marine layer was below and there was about a 5 to 7 knot breeze.
My work concentrated on IC1318 which I shot in Halpha and in color:

The moon gave me a slight gradient but it doesn't seem to bother the Halpha image very much.
