Gorgeuous view of the Crescent moon, Saturn, Pleiades, Orion poking over the horizon, M31 straight up and nekkid-eye-easy, and milky way visible from Cygnus in the west through Cassiopeia and nearly all the way to the eastern horizon, all from home.
Looked for the comet in my 10x50 binocs, and *think* I saw it, but can't confirm for sure, as it was starting to get light and I lost it pretty quickly. Will have to try again in a couple of days. Still, nice to see my old friend Orion in the morning, signaling the start of fall and cooler weather (and longer nights!) :)
