MB last night

The stars looked like Summer is almost here but the wind was more like winter. I got out of the truck and turned around and reached for my jacket.

Just before sunset a fellow drove his tractor along the fence line to make a fire break. Nice to have a fire break but lots of dust over our scopes. My scope was still in the truck but others were scrambling to cover their optics.

There was a little dewing. The seeing was not very good. Later in the night the fog in covered some of the city lights. The Milky Way was well defined by the time we left about 2am.

It was a good night once we got our into our winter observing mode.
