Rich's Stowaway had about the sharpest views I have seen. Amazingly the atmosphere seemed pretty steady and the good views lasted until after the event was over.
I had the PC23C in the back of an ST80 in order to get the full disk. Actually, this combo gave 90% percent or better of the disk on the chip. I used a Baader filter with an H beta filter in the diag. This combo seemed to give the highest contrast in experiments over the weekend.
The viewing was on a 9 in color monitor in a large box to cut down glare. The camera is black and white which was good because the filter combo gave a nice blue sun in color.
The mystery for the day was when an adult bumped the scope and I recentered. Then I realigned with the SS2000. I got a "2 Point" alignment. Amazing, a 2 point alignment on the same object. Makes you wonder what the programming is like.
