Thanks to all who helped make today's eclipse a fun event! I dragged my Icelander friend, Len, to his first star party and got him hooked on solar eclipses. Too bad there won't be another in the Bay Area until 2012! I ran into a fellow eclipse chaser I crossed paths with in the Black Sea in '99 and who is planning to join the same cruise as me for the total in December. It was nice to see so many scopes and so much public enthusiasm.
