My online acquaintance and I met up at Chili's, then proceeded after dinner to DV, where we met Bruce Jensen at sunset. The wind died down and the temperatures were cool but not too cold. The only downer was that the seeing was crap, but we still managed to have a fun evening. I was imaging (no surprise) so my friend was able to mooch photons from Bruce and watch my images come up on screen. We had a good time.
The wind threatened to rise once or twice but nothing ever came of it. There was never more than a breeze, and usually a very gentle one.
