Montebello

Wow. It was the Night of the Millennium at MB last night! B^)

I arrived around 6:30 to basically overcast skies with some blue to the south. Other folks showed up around 7 or 8pm. By sunset the clouds had mostly disappated, and transparency was good. The wind was initially a bit stiff, but tolerable, and dry.. very dry, lots of static electricity. We cut out around midnight. By then the sky was pretty decent.

We enjoyed looking at the brighter objects... M13, 6207, M51, m81/82, of course Ikeya-Zhang, M65/66 and neighbors, and cruising virgo. It was a mostly map-less night.

Btw, a planetary night it was not... even M13 was shimmering.
