I went to Coe on Friday night, May 10, and arrived a few minutes before sunset. Wind was down to perhaps ten miles per hour and dropping. Conditions after sunset were nearly calm, but chilly, with temperatures down to the high 30s by 11 PM or midnight. Seeing (with a 6-inch refractor) was okay to good -- I was working double stars down to a bit more than an arc-second with no trouble.
I guess everyone got scared off by the wind warning earlier in the day, there were only two other cars of astronomers there.
