"So, how was it at Coe," you ask?

Don't think the Peak be quite as crowded/dusty as Coe tonight (at least I hope not. <grin>).

We ended up having a very nice night at Coe. Yes, there was the usual dust, but it was warm and clear shortly after sunset. I never put on anything more than a long sleeved shirt over my jeans and T-shirt. Not the darkest skies I've seen from Coe in the recent past, but decent. I logged 29 new objects and finished the Herschel 400 objects in Coma Berenices. Not a large crowd, but I think I overheard someway say there were 24 scopes set-up. People started bailing around 1:00 as a bunch of high thin stuff started coming in. Funniest thing that was overheard was someone telling a newbie that my 16" dob was only 'a little better' than their 8" scope.

Dang, then why am I lugging that big tube around?! :-)
