I arrived late (about 10:15) at MB, so I can't speak for the early evening. The grumbling was that it wasn't too good. I had family commitments earlier, but I'm glad I went up later anyway, especially now that I see the forecast for the next few days!
It was partly cloudy when I got there, but it cleared up nicely by about 11:30, and I had about 1.5 hours of nice sky before the clouds started up again around 1:00. The seeing was good, but not great. I spent most of the time on galaxies in Leo and Sextans and Corvus, because that was the darkest part of the sky. Couldn't split Gamma Virginis (again). Also stopped by one or two old friends (the Sombrero and the Ghost of Jupiter) before leaving. I turned off the lights and locked the door at about 1:30.
