Jupiter and the waning crescent moon were seen in my ST90 at 50x. I couldn't see any detail on Jupiter due to a nice, strong breeze coming off the bay here in Newark.
A coworker was peering through the eyepiece at first contact, so I missed it (I thought I had about half a minute to go.) Second contact occurred at 20:22:12 UT.
I'm headed out now to catch the back half.
I was set up again and ready to go for third contact. The Moon's lower altitude affected both the brightness and seeing of the second half of this event. As a result, I didn't notice Jupiter until well after third contact. Fourth contact appeared to be at 21:29:11 UT, but, due to the excessive shimmering, I'm not sure how accurate this timing was, either.
